SnapHotkey

Built by one person, for keyboard-driven people.

Every time I needed to switch apps, I lost my train of thought. Reach for the mouse, click the Dock, wait for the window to surface — by then, the idea was gone. It happened dozens of times a day and it was quietly exhausting.

I tried several tools that promised to solve this. Most were bloated with features I didn't need, required complicated configuration just to get started, or felt clunky in daily use. None of them felt right. So I decided to build exactly what I wanted: something minimal, instant, and out of the way.

SnapHotkey was the result. One key per app. Press to focus, press again to hide. No mouse. No friction. No team or investors behind it — just one developer who was tired of being interrupted by their own tools.
